Before these products were introduced to the market, ice scrapers were designed as disposable objects with little thought to ergonomics. In addition, their overall design did not address the sleek context of the automobiles that they would be stored in. In response, we developed a scraper line that effectively raised the standard and created a new product category. Rather than using product packaging we relied on the obvious visual benefits to inform the customer at the retail level. In the first year on the market, Talon + Falcon exceeded sales forecasts by 40% and remain the companies’ top seller.
