Ritmo is a design exploration, submitted to an Italian Lighting Manufacturer of urban street lights and bollards. Influenced by the natural and mechanical tension found in urban environments, Ritmo (meaning rhythm in Italian) was developed as a symbolic reference of that relationship. Various native grasses were used as a metaphoric geometry of the natural and mechanical tension. An environmentally responsible system of components was developed to reduce waste, increase profitability and provide a family appearance between the products developed for this program.
