Riley Uecker is an architectural intern at KEM Studio. She is currently in her 5th year in the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Kansas. She believes in authentic, human-centered design and strives to create spaces that combine sound construction, functionality, and aesthetic harmony. Through her experience studying abroad in Copenhagen, she developed a keen interest in the integration of progress and preservation, and was able to gain insight into how this is done. She has previous intern experience at HIVE Design Collaborative, DLR Group, and Gensler.
